第一次聽到它是在1967年。

還記得是個深夜的節目，美軍電台的廣播中出現了這首「如夢似幻」又不知如何捉摸的歌曲，吸引了我。當時自己的英文聽力不好，就是聽不清DJ 播報的歌名….

Some Vietnam morning?
….

也不知過了多久才弄清，是”Some Velvet Morning” 。好一個美麗又夢幻的名字。

這也是我頭一次聽到 Lee Hazlewood 這個人。深沉的歌喉，十分引人，不在話下。後來才知道此兄是位大有來頭的製作人。那時對一般人而言，在兩人中較有名的是Nancy Sinatra，她是 Frank Sinatra 的女兒，當時也是個已有了幾首暢銷曲的 pop star.

「一個絲絨的早晨」這首歌，就如它的歌名，是首充滿夢幻意味又讓人不知它到底在說些什麼的曲子，我想一定和當時的「迷幻藥文化」有那麼點關係。聽來 歌中這位漢子中了這名叫 “Phaedra“ 姑娘的邪，在一個「絲絨的早晨」，他回憶著自己與姑娘的邂逅以及姑娘的慰語。Nancy 無邪又略帶性感的歌聲很適合扮演這個女聲的角色，與 Lee Hazlewood 低沉的男聲形成了強烈的對比。倒要提一句，Nancy 的嗓音是不錯 （應是父親遺傳之賜），當時也以性感小貓的姿態出現。但現在再看看她當時的照片，在氣質上是差了一些。當然，這話又說回來了，在這世界上又能有幾個 Grace Kelly 或 Audrey Hepburn 呢？

花了不少時間製作了 “Some Velvet Morning” 的 video. 困難不少但都能一一解決。要的是能捕捉歌中的風格。望你喜歡。
